Abalieno, your blog title may be the fool on the hill, but in my personal opinion there aren't any fools round here. I thought I would provide some opinion, innapropriate or not.
This is the first blog I found related to mmo and game ideas and designs and opinions and all the rest. It inspired me to try and start a blog, which I still hope to develop one day, but don't have the time for real dedication to it now. It got me interested in looking at game issues through blogging, because I doubt I will ever be a game designer but I will always wish I was.
Sure sometimes I disagree with you on some things, but I tend to find a lot of stuff I agree with here, usually posting something about it one way or another if I care enough too.
I think that you're right on this, regardless of who stole what or who invented what, this was still one of your ideas. I think it's pretty fair to step up and say you thought of this. It's a shame you didn't get to implement it. But also a great thing that someone else has, as you say.
Hopefully they are reading it and thinking hey, this guy has some good ideas, let's try them out. (And hopefully if they are they will let you know)
Finally, the one thing that I really like about this blog (which a lot of people appear to hate) is that you set out to be completely honest and completely critical about everything. If something sucks you say so, if it rocks you point that out too. You are harsh sometimes with your responses and words, but at the end of the day, this is your hill and you can scream from the top of it as much as you want.
Congratulations on having your idea implemented. Even if it had nothing at all to do with you.
