Is not the point of a critics blog to make the "powers that be" see things differently and to change how they are doing things and yes, maybe even take some of those self-same ideas and implement them?

I'm not bitching, I'm not complaining. I'm just saying it's frustrating for me. I'm not going to call the cops or shaking my fists.
As I said, it's a small idea, maybe. But it's also the only new and substantial idea that they have in the whole expansion.
Whether they had it without reading it here or not doesn't change the fact that I had it as well. And it is a good idea. I'm glad to see it used, but it's obvious that this IS also frustrating.
With the risk that they'll ruin it with a bad implementation. That would be even more frustrating.
