Way to completely miss the joke!
When Sanya says, "with its maze of twisty passages all alike" she is simply making a joking reference to the original text adventures Colossal Caves and Zork which had mazes described in exactly those terms. She wasn't actually telling you anything about what the dungeon would be like.
