For some reason, this article made me think of Planetside's 'intermediate' lead, Samhayne. In my vague memories, he was much less 'professional' then most and since Planetside benefited( if you can call it a benefit ) from a small population, he would actively engage the forums in discussions and, even going so far at time as to admit when they where wrong, or something had been screwed up in developpement. He was certainly not perfect, but he was..refreshing I guess.
In his ( swiftly delete ) farewell post, he basically said Planetside's fate had been pre-ordained towards mediocrity due to the way it was programmed. But that is another story.
