I used to feel really tempted to pre-order the Burning Crusade. That kind of faded as I slowly grew less and less attached to the game after quiting. I still check the sites every day and keep up with how my old guild is doing but I really couldn't care less.
The longer I played the more static the world felt. The addition of some neutral cities that can change sides would help but the game just feels flat and static to me. I also could never stand the giagantic dragons that clip through everything in their path. Little details like the fact that the king of stormwind is trapped somewhere EVERYONE knows about but can't seem to be saved from just break any sense of immersion I originally had.
I hope people not getting the xPac are looking forward to the side effects of everyone else trying to get it installed.
