I had to respond because I got this book for Christmas and couldn't put it down once I started it. I also ordered the rest of the series (can't believe I've got to wait until March for the UK paperback of the third book) on Monday too. I completely agree that there's something very captivating about the characters: they're human, not all perfect, and seem to make the same mistakes we all would.
I hope more people pick-up the book after your excellent review, they're unlikely to be disappointed.
I have a favourite part, but I won't post it because it's probably a bit of a spoiler for others, but it happens near the end of the book and I imagine you can guess what it is. It, of course, concerns Logen.
