I was going to come to your defense in the other thread, but I didn't really see a point. For anyone who's tinkered with editors and such before it's intuitively obvious that there is procedural construction at work here. I've toyed with a small landmass mod for Morrowind ever since Oblivion came out (didn't have a computer capable of handling Oblivion at the time) and while you can achieve consistently good work adhering to a single style with a simple set of tools (though the Elder Scrolls Construction set is brilliant in it's simplicity) you just cannot do it without having to do several passes of each feature, which is extremely time consuming even if you don't decide at some later point to do a complete revision.

Furthermore, we know Blizzard uses this sort of technology. Hell, both Diablo games have their levels assembled at runtime, how is the proposition that Blizzard has thrown a decade of experience with procedural editors into the wind and decided to handcraft everything supposed to make any sense?
