Supposedly Blizzard had begun working on Diablo 3. I doubt this will ever happen now but even if it did, who would do it when Blizzard North has all but evaporated? Blizz is beginning to look like another Origin to me: a great studio with much talent which sadly crumbled under the weight of a singular success. With Origin it was Ultima Online and with Blizzard it could be WoW. All because a blind owner (EA, Vivendi) cannot see the obvious truth: they are killing that which provided them with success in their mad pursuit for short-term profit.
