This is clearly a fake. If I'm not mistaken, that high/blood elf is the same one at BRD entrance that gives attunement quest? Maybe not... The blood elf character is nearly identical to this one... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d8/Warcraft_Blood_elf.jpg. Granted there are some very very slight differences. Most notable is the belt is curved in the screenshot, and not in the wiki image, also the screenshot seems to have a little more depth, around the face for instance. However these differences can be easily modified in photoshop, I could do it if I had a large source of the wiki image. A little dodge and burn around the face can give it more depth like the screenshot, and the belt is equally easy to manipulate.

If the like image is not convincing enough for you. Consider all the other errors, like...
1) Brtutal, wtf? It's correctly spelled in the core game, don't believe me? Go see for yourself, make a horde character... So somehow Blizzard managed to fuck things up enough to take a correctly spelled word in the core game, and misspell it for expansion? Doesn't make sense to me.

2) A Blood Elf mage? LOL

3) All the other graphical quirks... like the Orc/troll background, avatar images changing, the panderan avatar doesn't seem to fit the style imo, granted these could all be just place holders as others suggested... but personally I don't think so, I just think it's someone who didn't polish their faked image.

4) If you examine the image in Photoshop at about 400% or higher, you'll notice there is a high amount of artifacts around the "cut out" line of the Blood Elf. Artifacts are common in a poor compressed jpeg, however the artifacts around the Blood Elf are not uniformed with the rest of the image. This would lead me to believe the image was pasted in.

5) A few other things some others have mentioned... The clothing is much too nice for a level 1 character. The racial ability of the Blood Elf does not seem legit. Neither Horde nore Alliance are favorable to the Blood Elves, and the Panderan race would be more likely to be Horde than BE, per WCIII story arc.

Those who suggest that no one would photoshop a BE city (shown in the other screenshots), well no one is disputing those images. Just because there is a screenshot showing Blood Elves, and some cool structures that might belong to them, doesn't mean it's a playable race. I can go take some screenshots of Booty Bay right now, does that mean we can play Goblins? Who's to say those screenshots are neutral content? Like Argent Dawn, or Booty Bay, or Gadgetzahn, etc etc etc. Maybe they are making a Blood Elf city with quest to do. The fact that some of you confirm your belief based on a couple screenshots that have zero proof that it = playable race is insane...

and for those who still belive this is all true... Da'nile is more than just a river in Africa :P
